Tip Brown, DDS
Tip was raised in Neenah and attended Neenah High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado in Boulder and received his dental degree from the University of Iowa. Following dental school, Tip completed a one year General Dentistry Residency Program in the Air Force and served as a general dentist at Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma for two years. Tip loves being in his home town and practicing with his wife and brother at Brown Family Dentistry.
He is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and is a past President of the Winnebago County Dental Society component of the Wisconsin Dental Association. He also donates time as a dentist and Marquette Student Instructor at the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic and currently serves on its Board of Directors.
Tip enjoys time spent with family. He shares his enthusiasm for golf, downhill skiing, tennis, boating and hunting with family and friends.
Dawn Brown, DDS
Dawn is originally from Orland Park, Illinois. She attended the University of Iowa, receiving degrees in Biology and Dentistry. As an Air Force Officer, she completed a one year General Dentistry Residency Program in Omaha, Nebraska and served as a dentist for two years at Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
Dawn is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. She is a Marquette Student Instructor and volunteer dentist at the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic. Through the TCCDC, she also volunteers with the "Focus on the Children" dental care program treating children on a mobile dental clinic, a bus that travels to local schools. During National Dental Health Month, Dawn and her staff give fun, educational presentations to kindergarten classes in the area. She has made five dental mission trips to Haiti to treat patients and currently serves as the President of the non-profit organization Hinche, Haiti Dental Outreach. Dawn is a sustaining member of the Neenah Menasha Emergency Society and volunteers as a driver for Meals on Wheels.
Dawn and Tip are parents to two wonderful adult children, Carter and Ashlyn, and sponsor and have welcomed into their family, Michael, a young Haitian gentleman and his son, Kingston.
Tyler Brown, DDS
Tyler was raised in Neenah and attended Neenah High School. He pursued undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder and received his dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After dental school, Tyler completed a one year General Dentistry Program at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida and served as a general dentist at FE Warren AFB in Wyoming for three years. He is a member of the American Dental Association, a volunteer dentist and Marquette Student Instructor at the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic, and a past president of the Winnebago County Dental Society component of Wisconsin Dental Association.
Tyler enjoys life in Neenah with his wife, Kristen, son, Hunter and daughter, Brielle. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys numerous activities including golf, soccer, boating and downhill skiing. He spends numerous hours volunteering his time coaching teams for the Neenah Soccer Club.
Tim Brown, DDS - Founder
Tim is originally from Neenah, graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry, then served in the US Army for three years prior to starting Brown Family Dentistry in 1972. He is very proud to have Tip and Dawn join in the practice in 1999 and Tyler in 2009.
He has served on numerous dental councils and committees at the local and state levels. He was one of the founders and was the first president of the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic (TCCDC), a volunteer clinic in Appleton which serves the low income population in our area. He still spends many hours per year as a volunteer treating patients and working on various committees. He is also a past president of his church council and a number of youth organizations.
Tim’s other passion now is serving the poor in Haiti. He and long term friend and employee, Lori Schneider, have established an 8-chair dental clinic in Hinche, Haiti. Tim's hobbies and passions include golf, hunting, and dental missionary work. He and his wife, Sue, enjoy "life" in Neenah and spending time with their grandchildren. Their other son, Casey, is a physician with Neurospine Center of Wisconsin. He is a physiatrist specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Casey and his wife, Deann, have a daughter, Bailey.
